Lancashire Foot and Ankle Surgeon

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in foot and ankle surgery, knee surgery and general trauma.

I did my foot and ankle fellowship at Wrightington Hospital under Mr PLR Wood.  I was granted a Fellowship of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, which I used to gain experience in ankle arthroscopic surgery under the internationally renowned Professor Van Dyke at Amsterdam.

My aim is to provide a high quality, patient-centred foot and ankle service to the people of Lancashire. I cover the entire spectrum of orthopaedic foot and ankle disorders.  Besides the more common foot and ankle procedures, I perform ankle replacements, ankle arthroscopy, complex hind foot fusions, deformity corrections, and ligament and tendon reconstructions about the foot and ankle. In addition I also undertake some knee surgery including knee replacement and arthroscopy.
